"Weedy Seadragon" Lino Cut Print New Local Catalina Island artist, James Welsh. James works at Catalina Island Marine Institute, teaching marine science to young students that visit the camp through out the year. Inspired by his research and surroundings, James pays homage to the animal locals through his art. He hand carves each work of art on boards, and hand pulls each image onto heavy weight paper.
