"Avalon in the main bay of Catalina Island cab be a romantic or fun getaway. A perfect place to have a wedding as I was to learn. I was commissioned to do a large painting by a lovely couple who married and honeymooned there. I traveled there to paint this work-study scene for my first visit and fell in love with the quaint island. Later I took six months to paint a larger work of art that encompassed everything in this overview, Now, I keep going back, it has my heart and I know it has yours too." - Esther Williams
