"Rock Reef II" is part of three part series by Julie Bagish. The first of the 3 pieces can be found in the Ceramic Museum in Icheon, South Korea. Julie spent more than 2 decades in Japan. During her time there she studied under her sensei, Kimpei Nakamura, a very well-known Japanese ceramic artist.
The Baroque pearls found on this special piece were taken from the necklace Julie bought in Japan in the 60's for her wedding.
