People often ask, "Is this wood?" I love explaining that these artworks are made by our friend Buck, a local artist who also happens to be a swordfisherman! These are real swordfish bills, dried out in the sun, then sanded, embellished with local soapstone and leather and sometimes old pieces of abalone. They are really something to see.
