Ceramic Sgraffito Octopus Cups

What is 'Sgraffito'? It's a decorative ceramic technique. Each Octopus tumbler is hand-formed from a white body clay and glazed with black slip. Once the slip has dried, an outline of the design is hand drawn and carved. As the black colored layer is carved away, the white clay body is exposed underneath, creating an image. Due to the nature of handmade work, please note that slight variations should be expected in color and texture. 15 Oz tumblers. Food safe, dishwasher safe.
